A quick save for your frog friend

If you mistimed a jump and your frog is about to take a hit in the Hop Dodge game, don't despair—you can try stopping in midair! While you're midjump, you can give the Toy-Con Wind Pedal a few quick pumps with your foot to pull off the extended jump move and snag a bit more airtime. You won't stay up much longer, but it might be just enough to get your frog to safety.

Locking on for a homing shot

Did you know that you can fire homing shots in the Blaster game? To lock on to a target, get it in your sites and press the button on your Toy-Con Blaster before sliding the handle to prime it. You'll see a special indicator appear on your target. Prime and fire again before that indicator's timer runs out to fire a shot that'll land true even if your aim is a little off.

How to score a horde of hippos

In the Kablasta game, the goal is to fling different types of fruit toward hippos to lure them to your side of the pool and score the most points. For a quick look at which food is a hippo’s favorite, you can lower the Joy-Con holder on the left side of your Toy-Con Blaster. Here’s another hint: If your Blaster is empty, you can press its button to blow a whistle that's great for getting a hippo to notice you when it's facing the wrong way.

Leader of the flock

If you place a Right Joy-Con controller into the Pinwheel, and then attach the Pinwheel to the Toy-Con Bird, you can use it to help guide your flock in the Bird game. By blowing a puff of air onto the Pinwheel, the IR Motion Camera will see the reflective stickers on it spin by. The result is a puff of air that flies out from your bird, telling your flock where to go!

A rainbow of possibilities

Labo Vr

In the Doodle game, there are eight different ink colors to choose from. You can also mix your own custom colors! If you mix Red and Blue together, what do you think you will get? Or how about if you mix Blue and Green, with just a splash of Yellow? When you have got a custom color mixed that you want to keep, you can select Done to save your new shade.

Snorkel savvy

The Snorkel can be used to share an experience with a person who is playing the House Camera or Ocean Camera game. You can pop on this stylish eyewear and stand in front of the Toy-Con Camera. When the IR Motion Camera on the Right Joy-Con controller catches sight of the reflective stickers on the Snorkel, interesting things can happen in these two games.
