P0700 Subaru Transmission Control System Malfunction
P0700 Subaru
Without knowing exactly which model/year Subaru I can't provide exact diagnostics steps/wires to test. I can tell you have a CVT transmission because P2764 is only valid for CVT. P0700 is the TCM calling for the check engine light (also tells the ECM there is a transmission problem). Code P2764 lock-up duty solenoid circuit (low) This video shows the replacement of the valve body in this Subaru continuously variable transmission, and also.

Codes P2764 and P0700. 2014 XV Crosstrek with 117k miles, including plenty of miles towing at capacity. Never had my CVT fluid changed. After doing research on how to change the fluid myself and being told by a quick lube place that they wouldn't touch it I downloaded the 'Active OBD' app for Subaru. I've got a 2015 Subaru Forester with 175k miles that runs great but the other day all my dash warning lights went off. I checked the codes and it shows P0700 & P2764 and from a little research online it looks like I need a new transmission valve body. I've erased the codes several times and with.

P0700 Subaru Forester 2009
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transmission control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 Subaru code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the transmission controls.
